We couldn’t do what we do without the help and support of our amazing volunteers!

Volunteer Roles

• Gallery volunteers: Greet patrons at the welcome desk and help out with small projects around the gallery.

• Venue & Event volunteers: Take/sell tickets at the door during our all-ages concerts, keep an eye on the crowd and alley in between bands, and enjoy the concert!

• General volunteers: Help out for bigger projects around the space, like cleaning days and fundraising events.

Most volunteer shifts are about 3-5 hours. Sign-ups are available only to those who have completed orientation. If you’re interested in volunteering, make sure to sign-up, and we’ll reach out to you about scheduling an orientation!

Please note: Volunteer opportunities at KZAX 94.9 (our community radio station) follow a separate procedure. Please reach out to kzaxstationmanager@makeshiftartspace.org for more info and to sign up.
